I couldn’t wait to try this product! I’ve been an avid organic gardener for over 15 years and usually have made my own soil mix. In ground garden, standing gardens and container gardens. The first thing you notice when you open the package is the color of the soil. It even looks healthy, not like the Sahara that some look like. NO PEAT is fantastic for your squashes!
With one bag I planted peppers, tomatoes, popcorn shoots (delicious btw), rosemary and thyme in my large rolling containers (2) and in two deck railing planters that hold 3 to 4 plants each. PLENTY of soil, mixed with pea gravel for drainage. This was the first plantings of the year for me and I can’t wait to see what happens. Based on experience, this is going to be good.
The smell will remind you of playing in the dirt when you were a kid (if you did that). Fresh earth, with hints of compost. Dark and compactable (not sand dry). Based on 15 years experience, I’m ready for a nice yield from what I planted today.
Definitely going out and picking up more. The price is comparable, if not better, than what other Garden Stores sell.
Thank you @SocialNature for allowing me to try this product for free.
